Opening a business in Bellflower, California?

Opening a business in Bellflower, California?

What's up! my name is Tauleva and I thought opening a business in Bellflower, California was a great idea! I currently live in Lakewood, California and I've been selling items for a profit for a few years now. In that time I had collected quite a few things to the point that it didn't fit all in my house, so my next move was to get a storage unit. That worked for about 3 years and eventually led me to where I'm at now. The location I picked is right down the street from my home and the address is 17824 Clark Ave. in the city of Bellflower.

Yup! There it is ^^ That may or may not be my landlord walking by (hi Taylor!), I grabbed a screen shot of this from google maps. So anyway, the actual location inside was and is in not the greatest shape? One could possibly say that maybe I jumped into this situation on an impulse type of decision. Either way, I've been here since July 2024 and now it's November 2024 and I'm sort of ready to open the doors for the public BUT in wanting to do things by the book and follow all the rules for opening a business, there are a few hoops I still have to jump through to be 100% legit. I'm like 65-75% legit right now, just a few things I need to straighten out with the city of Bellflower. So we're almost there. In the meantime I'm going to start working on this website which will have a blog section and online store section.

Anyway, Shopify offers some AI function here that can help write up some words, and the prompt I put in was something like "I want to start a business in Bellflower, California." and here's what AI gave me, enjoy along with some art by Maurits Cornelis Escher (aka M.C. Escher).
